Robert Gowans, President and Chief Executive Officer
Rob has spent his career at the forefront of technology and regulatory innovation, globally, for more than 20 years, providing Venture Capitalists / Private Equity Firms, Information Technology / Telecom OEM’s and Managed Service Providers with strategic, operational, organizational and corporate development leadership with his hands on experience in the realities of Product / Service Definition, Development, Implementation, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development Services. As telecom markets deregulated globally Rob built successful new competitive entrants in the US, Canada and Hong Kong. He built North America’s first ISDN Network (1988), Canada’s first switchless reseller (1991) and first North American VoIP network (1999).
Rob is Venture Capital trained as an Entrepreneur In Residence, has eleven startups under his belt, three of them as a Silicon Valley backed CEO, ranging from fabless silicon, virtualization and network infrastructure and a past Vice President, Intel Communications Group.

Alan Stranaghan, Director of Product Managment
Alan oversees our strategic product portfolio and roadmap ensuring it fully meets the current and future needs of our customers by solving their specific business problems, whilst remaining competitive and delivering profitability.
Alan brings a unique blend of experience honed over twenty five years in the software industry within major multinationals as well as smaller fast-paced organisations where he has driven, often internationally, from concept to delivery, numerous products and solutions. These include Telecommunications Network Management, Antivirus policy management, IT Data Classification to ensure compliance with Enterprise information handling policies, and IT system vulnerability detection and control, to ensure compliance to Information Security Standards such ISO, PCI, and others.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from the Ulster University in Northern Ireland and is Pragmatic Marketing certified.

Denys Sheludko, Director of Research & Development
Denys leads VoIPshield Systems development. He joined the company in late 2007 as a security researcher, revealing flaws in VoIP vendors’ protocol stacks and software products, translating issues into plugins for our vulnerability assessment tool and providing SNORT signatures for our IPS/IDS product and has advanced rapidly within the organization. He has been involved in multiple projects at the IT Department of Trade and Economics Institute branch of the Kiev National Trade and Economics University. Denys received his Masters of Computer Science and Bachelor of Applied Mathematics at the National University of Chernovtsy, Ukraine.

Technical Advisor
Mike Sues is an experienced Penetration Tester, Vulnerability Researcher and Security Trainer with an extensive background in both operational penetration testing and the identification of new vulnerabilities in applications and operating systems. Mike develops tools and exploits, specializing in the development buffer overflow technology for use in assessing client systems. In so doing, he has reverse engineered many commercial and custom UNIX and Windows-based applications, protocols and Operating Systems to locate and analyze vulnerabilities or understand the software’s operation. As well, he has evaluated many vendor products, commercial and proprietary encryption algorithms, operating systems, network services, SANs, routers, and firewalls such as Checkpoint and CISCO PIX/ASA firewalls and has performed local host vulnerability assessments of firewalls, routers/switches, Windows Servers and Solaris/UNIX/Linux systems.
Mike is also co-founder of the COUNTERMEASURE series of security conferences held in Ottawa, Canada.
